Let's Clean Bangladesh




'Let's Clean Bangladesh' – a regular program of RSF Dhaka Project School was held on 29th February 2012. It is a program to teach the community people to keep the society clean. A Clean environment can provide a healthy community.

100 Students from different class were prepared with hand-gloves, Baskets and shovels to clean-up Nursery School Road, Gawair Madrasa Road & Kazi Bari Road under the supervision of 4 Class teachers at 3:15 PM.

Students collected scattered garbage such as thrown away waste papers, packets and poly bags from the roads. All the garbage were gathered in a place and set on fire. It is a program to engage all the school children in this program to build awareness. A student can teach his/her family and community to keep clean by throwing garbage in to a dust bin.

After the cleansing, RSF Dhaka Project School team requested the community to keep the place clean by using garbage-drums already placed there.

Hepatitis (B) & MMR 1st Dose Vaccination



58 Children of Play Group and Nursery were given Hepatitis B 1st dose

& MMR (mums, measles & rubella) 1st Dose Vaccination on 28 February.

The Vaccination program is sponsored by Judi & Geoff Flack family and Mary Anne & Steven Nielsen family from Australia.

Emirates Crew Maria Christina & Miki Visits RSF Dhaka Project School

From Left Maria Christina (Costa-rica) and Miki Fujiwara (Japan) all Emirates Airline Cabin Crew visited RSF Dhaka Project School at 1:30 PM on 28th February 2012. They brought Chocolates, Clothes, Toiletries, Fruits etc for the Children. The Crews They expressed their satisfaction towards the programs. International Mother’s Language Day- 21st February



The day started with a procession commonly known as Provat Fery at 8:30 AM. The procession started from the school passed Gawair Bazar Rd, Kazi Bari Rd and ended on the Rooftop of RSF The Dhaka Project School. The Students laid down banquet of flowers to the scaffold of the Shaheed Minar in respect of the Martyrs for Bangla Language during 1952. The Day is recognized by UNESCO and Mother’s Language Day is now held as International Mother’s Language Day.
Later Competition on Drawing and Essay writing were held. Students from KG-1 to Std-10 were present.
The students also sang songs in chorus and danced with the popular Bangla songs.
A drama also staged.
At the end of the program prizes were distributed among the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions holders.
The students enjoyed the day with great enthusiasm.
