Fruit and Food bags Distribution

29th August 2012. It was Fruit and also the Food Distribution Day at School. Students were lined-up according to their grades as usual. Volunteer Thea Vadstein (Norway) helped with the distribution. Names were called by Mr. Azad based on the weekly class presence. Food Bags containing Rice, Lentil, Potato, Onions, Garlic & Eggs were distributed among the students of KG-1 to Std-10. 
Apples were distributed as fruits. Bag full of diet food recommended by TDP Medical Centre reduces the burden of nutrition among the student’s family. Food distribution day is a happy day for the student’s of RSF-Dhaka Project School.

Thea Vadstein Volunteers at Pre-School



Thea Vadstein is Volunteering at RSF Dhaka Project School from 25 August. Thea is from Norway and studying in 12 Grade at Dubai. She is willing to volunteer for a week. Her school will start from September 3. She is helping the Teacher at Nursery (pre-school). She has raised fund among her friends in Dubai and bought lots of stationary items for the children. Thea is very happy because this is her first time Voluntary work in a foreign country and of course with underprivileged children.

Ali, Silviv & Maria Visits RSF Dhaka Project

From Left Ali (Singapore), Silviv Vasile (Romania) and Maria Gavra (Greece) all Emirates Airline Cabin Crew visited RSF Dhaka Project School on 25th August 2012. They brought Cookies & Chocolates for the Children. The Crews spent some time with the children and expressed their satisfaction towards the programs. Back to School


25th August 2012. The Three week long Ramadan and Eid vacation is over. The Pre School section of RSF-Dhaka Project has opened. The School section (from KG-1 to Grade 10) will be functioning from tomorrow. All the kids enjoyed their Eid Vacation.
Eid is a big Festival in Bangladesh. All gets new dresses, shoes etc during this festival. All enjoy eating good food like Paes (porridge), fried rice, meat etc. It is a day on which relatives meet to greet with others. But it’s more fun coming Back to School.
