Year Final Examination Going On

Year Final Examination of RSF Dhaka Project School is going on. Students from Nursery to grade 9 are attending the examination which started from 18 November and end on 29 Nov. The result will be published on 11 December. 

Primary School Certificate (PSC) Exam Starts Today

20 Nov. Students busy for PSC Exam

Standard 5 students of RSF Dhaka Project School sit for Primary School Certificate (PSC) Examination at Dakkhinkhan Girls High School which Starts Today 21 November 2012. PSC Exam is held by the Government under Directorate of Primary Education. The students will give six exams including Bangla, English, Mathematics, etc.    Results will be published at the end of December. Students will also receive Certificates from the Government and also scholarships based on merit list.                                                                                                                                                

Fruit and Food bags Distribution

19^th November 2012. It was Fruit and also the Food Distribution Day at School. Students were lined-up according to their grades as usual. Names were called by Mr. Azad based on the weekly class presence. Oranges were distributed as fruits. Food Bags containing Rice, Lentil, Potato, Onions, Garlic & Eggs were distributed among the students of KG-1 to Std-10. Bag full of diet food recommended by TDP Medical Centre reduces the burden of nutrition among the student’s family. Food distribution day is a happy day for the student’s of RSF-Dhaka Project School. 

Volunteer Nina Schifferdecker

Nina Schifferdecker is volunteering for RSF Dhaka project School at Pre School Section comprised of Play group & Nursery from 13 November 2012. She is German and enjoying with the children at school. She is helping the project to get individual sponsors for the children. Thanks to Nina for helping RSF Dhaka Project.

Hair bands, Chocolates for Children

Hair bands, chocolates etc were distributed among Children on Thursday 15 Nov. 2012. These gifts were brought by Emirates Airline Cabin crews.

Andrea Ghezzi & Barbara visits RSF Dhaka Project

Andrea Ghezzi (Italy) and Barbara (Hungary), Emirates Airline Cabin crew visited RSF Dhaka Project. Andrea Ghezzi sponsored a child Sumaiya Akter Sarna from Play Group with 240 US Dollar for a year. Capt.Werner Visits RSF Dhaka Project

Capt. Werner Linshalm (Emirates Airline Pilot) is a long term volunteer for RSF Dhaka Project. He visited on 23^rd October with Cabin crew Saskia Summer. The Children Welcomed Werner to school.

Global Hand Washing Day 2012

RSF Dhaka Project celebrated “Global Hand Washing Day” today on 15^th October 2012 with Save the Children and Nari Maitree at school. At 10:30 AM the program began showing Hand Washing cartoon of “Meena” by Unicef. Hand washing with soap is the single most effective way to prevent diarrhea and acute respiratory infections (ARI).

At 11 AM 100 students learned the techniques of hand washing and washed their hands. This technique has been developed by the World Health Organization and every one around the world washes hands in this way. This technique removes all dirt, bacteria from hands, fingers, finger nails, and wrist.

At 11:45 AM Students participated in a 2 Km long rally with the guests from Save the Children and Nari Maitree.  

The Rally started from RSF Dhaka Project School, passed Kazi Bari Moore upto Chairman Bari and returned to School again.

People passing through the street were also taught the techniques hand washing with soap.

At 2:30 PM Parents were also taught the techniques hand washing with soap.
