New Teeth for Nazma Akter

Nazma Akter, age 10, a student of Grade -3, ID-389 of RSF Dhaka School & College broke her two front teeth by falling on the ground while playing with her friends in August 2009. She visited Dr. Amirul Islam, Dentist of RSF Dhaka School & College HealthCare in but as she was only 8 years old she was kept under observation.

At the end of October she was set two Crown/ Cap on her broken teeth for a better appearance and smile.

We can see the difference of before and after. Nazma Akter is very happy with his new look. Thanks to Dr. Amirul Islam for his hard work.

Open Clothe Sale for the Community

As a regular part of fund raising activity, a "Clothe Sale for Fund Raising" was organized by RSF Dhaka School & College on 02^nd November-2011 in an open field near RSF Dhaka School & College Office from 3:30 PM To 5:00 PM. Different types & sizes of clothes as well as shoes & Sandals were on display for a very low price. Before the sale, an announcement was held around. The community of Gawair was informed about the event two days before. Many people including students of RSF Dhaka School & College gathered to buy clothes according to their needs. An amount of 2084.00 BDT was raised from the sale. The Cabin Crews of Emirates Airlines brought these clothes from Dubai through on flight to Dhaka. The Dhaka Project is always grateful to them and also to all the donors in Dubai.

Laila Farzana Donates

Laila Farzana donated 5,000 (Five Thousands) Taka to RSF Dhaka School & College on 13 October 2011.

She is a regular donor of RSF Dhaka School & College.

Laila is an architect in USA and has a generous heart for the poor Slum children.

A Big Thank You to Laila Farzana from all the Children of RSF Dhaka School & College.

Animated Movie Megamind screened on Movie Night

A movie night was held at RSF Dhaka School & College roof-top at 6:00 PM. On Thursday 27^th October 2011. Students of Standard 4, Section A & B were invited to watch an animated Movie ‘Megamind.’ Super-villain Megamind (Ferrell) kills his good-guy nemesis, Metro Man (Pitt), he becomes bored since there is no one left to fight. He creates a new foe, Titan (Hill), who, instead of using his powers for good, sets out to destroy the world, positioning Megamind to save the day for the first time in his life. The show ended at 8:00 PM on the Big Screen. Snacks such as Biscuits and soft drinks were provided during the interval. Volunteer Katharina & Eva were present with Mr. Shafiqur Rahman.

It was really a happy day for the students of RSF Dhaka School & College.
