The
Dhaka Project School (
TDPS) and Shishu Palli Plus (
SPP) played a friendly Cricket Match on 11th February at the playground of SPP, Sreepur, Gazipur.
It was a 15-15 over match. A toss was held between TDPS Captain Nazrul and SPP Captain Shoel. TDPS won the toss and decided to bat.
TDPS scored 123/7 and invited SPP to chase the runs. SPP scored 112/7 and TDPS won the match by 11 runs. It was a historical moment for the players of TDPS.
Captain Nazrul was declared the
Man of the Match with individual 52 runs and 2 wkts. It was his wise decision which led the TDPS team to win the match.
This was the first experience of the TDPS cricket team to play with another external team. The team was tired of two and a half hour journey from Dhaka. But the sprit was high.
