International School Dhaka (ISD) Parents Teacher Association (PTA) is a regular donor of The Dhaka Project. ISD PTA handed over a donation cheque of 75,000 (Seventy Five Thousand) Taka on 14 December 2010 for purchasing Reading Books of different classes. It was possible to provide books to our children at the beginning of the year. The children are very happy with the new books.
200 slum students of The Dhaka Project had EC classes at ISD in 2010. The most deprived children of the society (Slum children) had an excellent experience with the most privileged children of the society.
A Big Thankyou to ISD PTA. The Dhaka Project always welcomes donors like you to break the cycle of poverty in slums of Dhaka through education and social development.
