New Sound System for The Dhaka Project

Clotilde Magalhaes, who Volunteered for The Dhaka Project in 2010---found it to be a perfect organization for the 470 Slum Children being Educated with Food & Medicare support. What the project was lacking --was a Sound system. Lots of programs including, Cultural program, National & International program, Annual Sports Program, Awareness Program, Movie shows etc are held every year.
For the Sound System Clotilde took an initiative for fundraising for The Dhaka Project. The principals and students of "Escola Sec. Arq. Oliviera Ferreira and Escola D. Moises Alves de Pinho" schools organized a big fundraising program for the Dhaka Project. The Fund was sent to Dhaka through Maria Joao Azeredo, a Portuguese Volunteer of Dhaka Project. A Sound System was purchased from Dhaka.
Mr. Shafiqur Rahman & Maria Joao Azeredo organized a Movie Night with the new Sound System. A movie named "Ice Age" was screened. 60 children of The Dhaka Project School were present from 6:30 PM to 9:00. PM on the roof top of TDPS.
Cookies and juices were provided to all children and staffs as snacks. After the movie show there was a little DJ party in which the children enjoyed very much with the new sound system.
