Free Medical Camp at RSF Dhaka Project

26th May 2012. A Free Medical Camp was held on the rooftop of RSF Dhaka Project School for the parents of the students. Doctors treated nearly 157 patients with free prescribed medicines
The Medical Camp was sponsored by Atom of Good (Some Bangladeshi people living in Australia). The parents of the students do not get proper medical treatment from doctors so the Medical

Camp was organized to provide proper treatment  facilities and also free medicines.
Four volunteer students of Grade 7 along with Dr. Jahid Hossain (General Physician), Dr. Md. Amirul Islam (Dentist) Dr. Atiaf Parveen (General Physician & Gynocologist), Dr. Syed Mohibur Rahman (Opthalmologist) and Other staffs Volunteered for the Medical Camp.
The Medical Camp was held from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Cabin Crew Alicia, Jacqueline & Michelle



From Left Alicia (Australia), Jacqueline (UK) and Michelle (UK) all Cabin Crew of Qatar Airlines associate visited RSF Dhaka Project School on 27th May 2012. They brought lots of gifts for the children which included Powder Milk, Chocolates, Baby cloths, bread, toiletries, Rice, Lentil etc. The Crews spent some time with the children and expressed their satisfaction towards the programs. They even made a commitment to sponsor Rifat, Akash & Bristy from Playgroup.Thank you for visiting—we are grateful to you all.

Let's Clean Bangladesh with Aimee, Cecilia & Emily




'Let's Clean Bangladesh' – a regular program of RSF Dhaka Project School was held on 23rd May 2012. It is a program to teach the community people to keep the society clean. A Clean environment can provide a healthy community. This program is held twice a month. 50 Students from different class were prepared with hand-gloves, Baskets and shovels to clean-up Kazi Bari Road under the supervision of Class teacher at 3:15 PM. Emirates Airline Cabin Crew (From Left) Aimee (UK), Cecilia (Australia) and Emily (UK) joined the program.
Students collected scattered garbage such as thrown away waste papers, packets and poly bags, dry leaves from the roads. All the garbage were gathered in a place and set on fire. It is a program to engage all the school children in this program to build awareness. A student can teach his/her family and community to keep clean by throwing garbage in to a dust bin.
After the cleansing, RSF Dhaka Project School team requested the community to keep the place clean by using garbage-drums already placed there.

Global Campaign Director of Every One Campaign at RSF Dhaka Project


EVERY ONE is a worldwide campaign of Save the Children. In Bangladesh Save the Children organizes this campaign in 25 different schools through out the country to raise awareness among the students, teachers & guardians. Adrian Lovett, Save the Children’s Global Campaign Director visited RSF Dhaka Project at 2 PM on 21 May 2012. 15 Young Campaigners of visited RSF Dhaka Project School was engaged in a training session. The will make a survey around the local area identify the core problem and try to make a solution by this campaign.

Food bags Distribution


20 May 2012 was Food Distribution Day at School. Students were lined-up according to their grades as usual. Names were called by Mr. Azad based on the weekly class presence. Food Bags containing Rice, Lentil, Potato, Onions, Garlic & Eggs were distributed among the students of KG-1 to Std-10. Bag full of diet food recommended by TDP Medical Centre reduces the burden of nutrition among the student’s family. Food distribution day is a happy day for the student’s of RSF-Dhaka Project School.

Water Melon for Monthly Fruit Distribution


20th May 2012, it is summer season in Bangladesh. 

The Temperature is very hot reaching 37 degrees in the day with humidity. 

It is also Monthly Fruit distribution of the school. 

To quench the thirst in this hot summer large pieces of water melon was distributed among all the children of RSF Dhaka Project School.

Fruit distribution day is always the happiest day of the month. 

 All the students are happy.

First Term Report Card Day at School


16th May 2012, It was the First Term Report Card Day of  RSF Dhaka Project School. The class teachers distributed Report Cards among the students. It is also compulsory for the parents to be present at School during the report card distribution. All students along with their parents seemed to be present. Students were advised to do even better in the up coming examination. Parents were advised to take proper care of the weaker students. Some students were cautioned for getting poor grades. The teachers were pleased with the students securing higher grades in the exam.

Mosquito Spraying Program


To ensure mosquito free community liquid Mosquito Spray was sprayed through Fogger Machine on the small ditches and around thrown away piled-up garbage on Kazi Bari Road and Nursery Road on 15th May 2012 by RSF Dhaka Project. Mosquito will not spread such disease as malaria, dengue and others. It will help the community to keep healthy.
