FROM OUR HEARTS... WITH GREATFUL THANKS

Dear Dubai British School

The children under the care of The Dhaka Project, have been so privileged to have supportive friends at The Dubai British School .

For more than 2 years, children at The Dubai British School have helped The Dhaka Project in raising money to feed, educate, house and provide medical care to underprivileged children in the care of The Dhaka Project. The money raised (6766.25 dirhams ) through the Dubai Marathon is a recent example of how The Dhaka Project was helped by your school.

In addition to these fund-raising events, we have received donations of books, clothing and the very novel "shoe box appeal" activities initiated by your students that have helped our 700 children feel and touch the outstretched hands of the children from The Dubai British School.

And we wish to say a big thank you to Pia, who is a teacher in DBS and has been going every week from a considerable far distance to drop uniforms and donations in our storage room !

We are really grateful. Please convey our profound thanks to your students from the children at The Dhaka Project.

Maria Conceicao.
Founder,The Dhaka Project.
