COOKBOOK COLECTION DONATED

When cleaning up his cupboards, a captain on the 777 fleet, Captain Chris Young, has found 35 copies of a cook book published a few years ago by Emirates pilots' wives.
And he decided to donate them to us and not only; he has done the hard work of advertising them for sale at 50 Dirhams each among Emirates' pilots with the purpose of fund raising on behalf of The Dhaka Project.
The response has been encouraging and he has already sold quite a few and soon expecting to sell them all and turn up with the precious results on behalf of our 700 children and their poor families who are receiving support from the Project.

Our grateful thanks to Captain Cris Young for remembering of us in the name of all at The Dhaka Project.

Note: Quickly all remaining items were sold and the donour concluded that there were much more people who wished to buy these books than the number of cookbooks to be sold in this fundraising event on behalf of The Dhaka Project.

Thanks a lot for the enthusiastic involvement of Captain Chris Young in this fundraising !!!

All sold, Maria. The cheque's in the (company) mail. (I've always wanted to say that!)

I should have added that there were many more people who attempted to buy the books than there were books.
